ANNOUNCEMENT:

CPT classes for JUNE2018/ NOVEMEBER 2018 to commence from 1.4.2018

What Is FOUNDATION ?

It is an entry level test for Chartered Accountancy Course.for candidates who have appeared in the XII examinations.

  • Under the Foundation Course Route, the following steps are required to be followed to become qualified CA:
  • Register with ICAI  Board of Studies (BoS) after appearing in Class XII.
     
  •  Appear for Foundation examination after passing Class XII examination. Foundation examination can be taken in November/May, as applicable,. Qualify Foundation Course.
     
  •  Register with the ICAI for the Intermediate Course.
     
  • .Complete 8 months of study
     
  •  Appear and Pass in either or both Groups of Intermediate Course
  •  Successfully complete Four Weeks Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (ICITSS) before commencement of the practical training
  •  Register for Three years Practical Training with an Auditor (practicing chartered accountant) on passing either or both the Groups of Intermediate.
  •  Register for the Final Course after qualifying both the Groups of Intermediate Course.
  •  Successfully complete Four Weeks Advanced ICITSS during the last two years of Practical Training before appearing for Final examination
  •  Complete Practical Training.
  •  Appear in the Final examination during last six months of  practical training and qualify in both the groups of  the Final examination
  • . Become Member.

1. IPCC  is conducted twice a year in the month of may and November. Students have the option of appearing for one group at a time or both

2. A student is said to have passed both the groups together if he secures “a minimum of 40 marks in each paper and an aggregate of 50% in all the papers of both the groups put together”

3. A student is said to have passed one of the groups if he secures “a minimum of 40 marks in each paper and an aggregate of 50% in all the papers of that group”.
